    • Development of Ayodhya Airport: Completion by September 2023 for Enhanced Connectivity and Cultural Heritage
      • The development of Ayodhya Airport is set to be completed by September 2023. The airport will be able to accommodate A-320/B-737 type of Aircraft and is being built at a cost of Rs.350 crores. The project includes runway extension, an interim terminal building, ATC tower, fire station, car parking, and a new apron. The terminal building will have an area of 6250 sqm and can handle 300 passengers during peak hours. It will be equipped with passenger facilities, sustainability features, and architectural elements representing the upcoming Ram temple. Union Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia expressed confidence in the project’s contribution to regional development, tourism, and the cultural heritage of Ayodhya.
    • Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project Nears Completion: Dam Construction Achieved till Top Level
      • The Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project in Arunachal Pradesh and Assam, being executed by NHPC Limited, has achieved construction of the dam until the top level of Elevation Level (EL) 210 M. India Post already offers this service with 38 partner countries, and Canada will be the 39th. The ITPS rates are economical, starting at Rs 400 for the first 50 gms and Rs 35 for every additional 50 gms, providing affordable shipping solutions for up to 2 kg and volume-based discounts for contractual customers.
    • Sri Lanka Implements 14.2% Electricity Tariff Reduction Starting July 1st
      • The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has approved a 14.2 percent reduction in electricity tariffs starting from July 1st.
