Shimla, November 14, 2023 –The Education Department in Himachal Pradesh has initiated the counseling process for 1,161 Junior Basic Training (JBT) posts by releasing biodata forms. Scheduled from November 20th to 25th across districts, the counseling will manage batch-wise recruitment for JBT positions. The department issued these forms on Friday, available for download from the department’s website, urging district deputy directors to obtain them.
Candidates must fill out the biodata form during counseling, emphasizing that simple paper applications won’t be accepted. The department highlighted instances where candidates previously submitted information on plain paper, clarifying that such submissions will no longer be considered.
Before counseling commences between November 20th and 25th at district deputy director offices for JBT positions, committees have been formed at the district level to scrutinize candidate documents and prepare the merit list. However, the final list will be compiled by the department itself, indicating that the JBT result will be released through the department.

Additional Director of the Education Department, B.R. Sharma, announced the release of biodata forms for the upcoming JBT counseling sessions starting next week. Candidates will receive these forms during counseling, mandatory to be filled out at the counseling venue.
