News

  1. Allahabad University has released PGAT 2023 cutoff marks for MA, MSc programs, including MSc Botany, Chemistry. Registration and document uploading from July 27 to 31 at allduniv.ac.in. Admission dates and required documents available.
  2. Bihar Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya Class 11 Admission 2023 dummy admit card is now available on the official website. Students can download it until July 31 and make corrections to details such as name, date of birth, gender, Aadhar number, mobile number, parents’ names, caste, PWD category, and photograph. The official website for downloading the dummy admit card is secondary.biharboardonline.com.
  3. Delhi High Court grants St. Stephens College permission to use its own criteria for admissions of Christian minority candidates, giving 85% weightage to CUET scores and 15% to personal interviews. Non-minority students will be admitted based solely on CUET scores.
  4. IIT Kharagpur introduces MBBS courses under the BC Roy Institute of Medical Science and Technology, along with more electives in UG and PG based on NEP 2020. The institute also offers a dual degree program and extended internship opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  5. Mumbai University has postponed all 15 semester exams scheduled for July 27, along with the January session exams for MU Institute of Open and Distance Learning (IDOL). The revised exam dates will be announced later. This decision comes in view of the red alert issued by IMD for heavy rains in Mumbai and surrounding areas. BMC has declared a holiday for all schools and colleges in the city and suburbs due to the severe weather conditions.

Counselling | Registration

  1. MCC has released the list of 679 eligible NRI candidates for round 1 of NEET UG Counselling 2023 who applied for nationality conversion from Indian to NRI. Original documents are required at reporting, failing which admission may be canceled. Choice filling and locking extended till July 27, 11:55 PM, due to ongoing scrutiny. Check status on MCC website.
  2. Himachal Pradesh NEET PG 2023 Counselling registration begins on July 26 at amruhp.ac.in. Last date to apply is August 1. Registration fees: General – Rs 3,300, SC/ST/PWD/EWS – Rs 2,200. Qualifying criteria: General – 50th percentile, SC/ST/OBC – 40th percentile, UR-PwD – 45th percentile. Follow website steps to register and submit documents.
  3. NEET SS registration 2023 has begun, and candidates can apply for DM, MCh, and DrNB Super Specialty courses online at natboard.edu.in until August 16. The NEET SS exam is scheduled for September 9 and 10, 2023. Follow the steps on the website to register, fill the application form, and pay the fees. NEET SS is the single entrance exam for admission to Super Specialty Courses for the academic session 2023-24.
  4. AKTU UG Admission 2023 counselling registrations to begin on July 28. CUET UG 2023 exam qualifiers can apply for undergraduate programmes, excluding B Pharmacy, through official website aktu.ac.in. Fill registration form, select preferences for allotment.
  5. NEET PG 2023 Round 1 Counselling registrations have started on July 27, 2023. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website – mcc.nic.in. The last date to apply is August 1, 2023. Seat allotment result for Round 1 will be announced on August 5, 2023.
  6. Kerala KEAM 2023 option registration for MBBS and BDS courses is open till July 31, 2023, at cee.kerala.gov.in. Phase 1 provisional allotment list will be published on August 2, 2023, with the final allotment result on August 3. Fee remittance by candidates is scheduled from August 5 to 8, 2023.

Exams | Result

  1. BSE Odisha announces Class 10th Board Exam 2024 dates, starting from February 20 to March 4, 2024. Application forms to be filled in October 2023, and half-yearly exams for Class 10th and Madhyama will be conducted from September 13 to 16, 2023. Check official website bseodisha.ac.in for updates and datesheet download.
  2. GATE 2024 notification to be released soon by IISc Bangalore. Check official website gate.iitk.ac.in for registration and exam date details. GATE scorecard is valid for 3 years. Previous year exam dates were in February, and results were declared in March. GATE 2024 exam expected in the 1st week of February. Eligible candidates can apply by following the steps on the website. Past cut-off scores for various subjects are also available.
  3. The Punjab NEET UG 2023 provisional merit list has been released by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) on their official website bfuhs.ac.in. Candidates can check their names on the list by entering their roll numbers. The merit list is for admission to MBBS/BDS courses. The merit list is available in PDF format for the combined category and NRIs. If there are any objections to the list, candidates can submit them in person at the Admission Branch of BFUHS, Faridkot, along with relevant documents and records. The deadline for submitting objections is July 27 at 2:00 p.m.
  4. UP Madarsa Board 2023 results declared for Aliya, Alim, Kamil, Fazil. Students can check results online at madarsaboard.upsdc.gov.in using their roll numbers in the login window. Over 84% of students have passed.
  5. TN HSE 11th Supplementary Result 2023 to be declared tomorrow, July 28, on dge.tn.gov.in. Students can check and download their mark sheets using roll number and date of birth in the result login window.
  6. Lucknow University has released the complete merit list for BCA and 5-year LLB programmes for admission 2023. Students can now submit their choices for counselling through the official website until July 30, 2023. The choice filling link is available on lkouniv.ac.in. Candidates must provide at least 3 choices for major subjects and 6 choices for minor subjects. Choices can be rearranged multiple times before final submission, but once locked, they cannot be changed.

Admit Card

  1. JEECUP 2023 Admit Card released by Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh on July 27, 2023. Candidates can download the hall ticket from jeecup.admissions.nic.in by entering application number and password. The exams will be held from August 2 to 7, 2023. Admit card contains candidate details, exam center name, and instructions. Follow the official website to download the admit card.
